T3 connection services can add massive amounts of productivity to your business. However, you shouldnt get a T3 connection unless you specifically need more than a T1 can offer. If your needs can be satisfied by a T1 connection, you need not make the jump to T3.

Who Needs a T3 Connection?
If you run a large business, your needs will likely not be met by a T1 connection. Instead, you will want to upgrade to a T3 connection. Most universities are in a similar boat, and need more bandwidth than a basic T1 connection can offer.

It would be a mean feat to outgrow T3 service, since T3 can handle thousands of users at the same time. This means that even very large businesses can have their needs met by a quality T3 connection. A T3 line has a capacity thats similar to several T1 lines combined, and is therefore far superior in what it can handle.

There are some companies who need more bandwidth than a T1 line, but not as much as a full T3 line can offer. For companies like this, it is possible to buy a portion of a T3 line. Should you need the full T3 at a later date, you can always update to that expanded service.
